About the Journal

E-LOGOS is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Department of Philosophy of the Prague University of Economics and Business, founded in 1994 by doc. K. Pstružina. E-LOGOS currently publishes two issues a year, but most of the articles are made available online immediatelly after peer review to take advantage of the specifics of the Internet medium. The journal covers the fields of epistemology, ethics, social and political philosophy, history of philosophy, logic, philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, philosophy of science and other areas.

Open access policy

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

There is no submission charge or article processing charge (APC) – this means NO CHARGE for article publication.

All articles published in the E-LOGOS journal are made immediately available worldwide under an open access license.

Articles published in the E-LOGOS journal are open access articles licensed under the Creative Commons CC BY-NC 4.0 International license. The copyright is retained by the author(s).

Digital archiving policy

E-LOGOS journal uses digital archiving service provided by National Library of Czech Republic – Webarchiv – since 18th October 2008.

Publishing schedule

E-LOGOS regularly publishes two issues every year: summer issue in August and winter issue in December.
